Classes for children aged 6 - 10

Just Be Yourself

This is a class for children ages 6 - 10 who really like to do art. This class will meet on Tuesday after school 3 - 4:30 and on Sundays from 11:30 - 1 p.m.
Attend once or twice a week.
Artistic and prolific children are welcome into two groups with the plan of working at home and spending part of Sunday class showing your work.
Space is limited - registration is recommended.

Reassembling the Language (class in Russian)

Immigrant children often resist studying their native language. In this collage/assemblage class students will be making narrative compositions, using words as one of their materials. Gluing words together and taking them apart, be it in a visual dictionary or absurd combination of words students will experience the language, like surrealists, reassembling its structure.

Still-life in constant motion

In this class we will come to a definition of an everyday object and discover ways to show, express or question its visual narrative. Painting experience recommended.
